How to add other certified drivers
Add an additional certified driver when you pick up your rental car. Additional drivers must present a valid driver’s license at the rental desk indicating that he is at least 25 years of age. In addition to these requirements, additional drivers must have a clean driving record. You can add up to 2 drivers to your booking.
Extra charge for driver
In most US states, the driver surcharge is $13 per driver per day. Maximum charge per additional driver is USD 65 per rental. There are no additional driver fees for renter’s parents, siblings or children in California. In US, the driver’s surcharge is $3 per day for him. In Nevada, driver surcharges vary from $11 to $13.75 per additional driver per day. Pre-approved drivers listed above are exempt from these fees.
Can I pay someone else to rent a car?
No, you cannot rent a car for someone else. You cannot rent a car on behalf of another person as the primary renter must present a credit card or debit card in his name to receive the vehicle.
