Then comes the Maternity benefits. If you are pregnant, you will get leave if you work in an infectious area like Hospital during the whole pregnancy. You are not allowed to work during this leave, and you will be paid for this too, and you will get 100% salary from your employer like Hospital, which is Maternity allowance; this allowance is given from 6 weeks before delivery till eight weeks after delivery.
