In the summer my kids love going to the splash pad at Riverway Sports Park. They have so much fun running around in the water and cooling off from the heat, but we went over there earlier this week and were disappointed to discover it was closed due to maintenance. I knew they wouldn’t be able to contain their excitement, so I called Visalia Parks and Recreation to get some information on when it would be open again

The History:

It has been a long time since we have visited Riverway  The last time we were there was when my daughter was three years old and she loved running around. We went on our second date there, and it’s where my son took his first step. On our last visit to the park, we found out that it had closed for maintenance. We called Visalia and found out that they would be open again in two weeks from now.

Call Before You Go:

 and recreation has been a great resource for my family. We frequently visit Riverway Sports water park near fresno ca in the summer because of their fantastic splash pad. The splash pad was closed for maintenance today so I called them to find out when it would reopen. They told me that it would be reopened on Tuesday, July 10th at 10 am and that it will be open from then on during regular hours. I’m glad we were able to get this information before we left!

The Maintenance:

Riverway Sports  was a great place for my kids to get some energy out and cool off this summer. They loved the slides, playgrounds, and splash pad. The only problem with it is that they’re doing maintenance on the splash pad right now and that means it’s closed for a while. When I called Visalia they said it would be closed through August 15th but will reopen then if there are no delays or setbacks.

The Hours:

The splash pad is open from 10am-8pm, Monday through Friday, and from 10am-7pm on Saturdays. The water park near fresno ca is closed on Sundays and major holidays. There are also lifeguards on duty at all times for your safety. It’s a great place for families with kids of all ages.
I frequently visit Riverway Sports Park to use their splash pad in the summer. Well to my kids disappointment it was closed for maintenance so I called Visalia  and Rec Department. They told me that they would be doing maintenance every weekday until September 8th and then again October 6th thru 9th, 2018. So as long as you don’t go during those dates it should be up and running!
